Founded in 1867 in Solingen, Germany, the Heinrich Böker & Company has a long and prestigious history of blade and cutlery making.
In the late 1800's, members of the original family came to USA and started importing knives and straight razors for this country. The tree logo was first used in 1917 in the USA to denote the imported razors.
This beautiful 11/16 inch razor is a larger than average Böker razor with original celluloid scales still in wonderful shape. Comes with German shipping box. The gold-wash emblem of the "King Cutter" still remains greatly intact. Metal inlaid Tree logo is featured on the scale, and the tang marking suggests that this razor is from 1926.
The blade has been buffed and comes with a near mirror finish on a majority of the metal. A very slight amount of wear marks remain, as trying to remove them on such a hollow-ground would have only compromised the blade. There are no chips, rust, cracks or heavy pitting marks, and overall this razor is in great shape. Böker razors, particularly of this size and grind are some of the most sought after blade in the community.

- 5k, 10k & 12k Naniwa Super Stones
- Oozuku Namito Japanese Natual stone
